Gold:
Gold never gets old, from the time of the Pharaohs to the present, it’s the most solid form of bullion investment, especially in a volatile economy. When the dollar fluctuates with markets and world currency value calculations, future estimates, and inflation, gold goes up. It is a metal that resists corrosion; conducts electricity; and whose uses are endless from dentistry to beauty. From Cleopatra hand to yours, Gold is always in fashion and gold is always a good idea.

Silver:
Everything that glitters isn’t gold – sometimes it’s silver, and sometimes it’s almost as valuable as gold. Used in currency for centuries, silver is a transition metal with the highest thermal conductivity of any metal, it is also very ductile/malleable.  Its chemical compound makes it perfect for a variety of uses from silverware to usages in medicine; aviation; mirrors; décor, etc.

Platinum:
Because of its sparseness, Platinum has become valuable. In accordance with the law of supply and demand – when there is little supply and much demand, prices go up. Caviar and diamonds are a luxury because they are scarce, coveted, and difficult to harvest. So goes it with Platinum, whose uses also range greatly, just as gold and silver’s do.  And, just as gold and silver are, Platinum’s qualities are also lustrous, malleable, and ductile. Used in industries such as the automobile industry and other lucrative and necessary industries, Platinum has been on the up and up in terms of bullion value.

Palladium:
Palladium is a valuable metal, close to Platinum in properties and useful in an electronic age. Used in televisions, computers, and cell phones, its uses are ever-present in our day-to-day lives. This high level of usage gives the metal importance and quantifies a high level of “need,” hence quantifying a high level of “value.”

Copper:
From the age of the Romans, Copper has been in use in industries and arts across the societal and technological board. The third most widely used metal, after iron and aluminum, copper’s qualities come from its natural occurrence as a mineral. It is also the second highest electrically conductive element (after silver), which make it powerful in terms of what it can do. Used often in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, and plumbing, its qualities lend themselves to our necessary usages and, again, like the other metals mentioned, give it value.
